Our schools are big but most of our teachers are empty

Students Agony
(spoken words)

Our schools are big but most of our teachers are empty.
We are taught everyday but we rarely learn.
Our curriculum is filled up but the contents are so empty.

We are being told to always work hard but some of them rarely come to class.
We are given numerous assignments, quizzes and tests but without their attention, love and care.

Our teachers who were supposed to be our parents now turned out to be the villains in our story.

Most students now prefer cheating or struggling their way into passing their exams alone rather than seating down to learn.
We are no longer in school to be educated, we are now in an intense academic pursuit.

The school has just turned into a tussle!
Every student wants to prove their teachers wrong!

Yes, our teachers love us no doubt but the distance between us is too much.

Who will bridge this gap?

We need their encouragement and love to rise above our failures, limitations and setbacks.

We are not asking for too much but we ain't gonna settle down for less.

Technically, most students are not studying their desired course, some didn't start up on time, some have so many issues with their academics etc
The pressure is much!

Mentally, some students remember and comprehend things differently, some read but don't understand, some understand but don't remember, some remember but can't express themselves, some don't read at all.

But in all these limitations and setbacks, our parents are still hustling, struggling and also hoping on us for better days.

Our society is still beckoning on us to succeed and live a better life.
More importantly our dreams are still waiting to be realised.

Our hopes are just high but our futures aren't bright.

Sorry for sounding harsh but this is the voice of a student's Agony.
